Man-snatching scandal: "We eat from the same plate, Farida knows all my secrets" Aisha Laar opens up (photos)

Last week, Aisha Laar’s Instagram post went viral after she accused her friend Farida of snatching her fiance, Junaidu.

In an exclusive interview with Northern Hibiscus , the student of Bayero University Kano, talked about the ‘snatching’ allegation, converting to Islam, her friendship with Farida, relationship with Junaidu and how she found out that her two closest friends betrayed her. Check out the interview below:
H: Hello, can we meet you?

AISHA OC:  My name is Aisha Laar. I am from Kaduna state kafanchan to be exact. I am a student of Bayero university Kano, and i am in my 20s

NH: from all the comments flying on social media we saw that you converted to Islam. please could you elaborate on that.

AISHA OC:  yes i was a christian, i was born in a christian home and yes my parents and siblings are all Christians. i had so many Muslim friends and every time they prayed i was mesmerized. i wanted Islam. i knew when i tell my parents they might not agree so i ran from home, I went to a relative who later sent me to Dr Ahmed Gummi. i went to his office boldly and told his aides that i had an appointment. I was a very young teen!
He was amused, he saw a very young girl with so much energy so he sent for my parents. They came and they agreed for me to convert and they later took me home. They got me malams that helped me with every thing and i entered a near by islamiya! He wanted to name me khadija but i choose aisha because i liked the name so much. My name was Katherine but now i am proudly AISHA!!! ALHAMDULLILLAH

H: I am itching to dive into the matter. but first when did you meet junaidu and farida

AISHA OC: First i met farida in KD very nice lady and we clicked instantly
we have been friends for a while, we both are schooling in Kano
so we are always together, i sleep in her house sometimes she sleeps in mine, We eat from the same plate, that’s how close i am with Farida. She knows my every move she knows all my secrets.

Junaidu, i met last year precisely 25th of February 2016
we clicked instantly. He is a very caring person and would put you over him self. He is very selfless and i fell hard.  He is a passionate person and he has sacrificed a lot for me.  He said :Aisha i love you and i want to spend the rest of my life with you, i can’t waste time” i was so excited and on the 16th of july, junaidu met my parents and paid my bride price!! he paid N100,000 sadaki and N50,000 kudin gaisuwa. i was over joyed! They fixed 26th of december for the wedding fatiha! Every body that knew me knew junaidu.

H: Is he a wealthy man, dan i don’t see why 2 friends would be fighting over him

AISHA OC:   Lol as i said he is very caring (yana da rufin asiri ALHAMDULLILLAHI) not money but his nature i think,. and mind you we didn’t fight over him. I never knew they were dating.

NH:  So what happened afterwards why didn’t you get married on the 26th of December

AISHA OC: Every thing was fine up until he started having trust issues. He felt farida (his bride) was influencing me and he wanted our friendship stopped. the strong head girl inside me wouldn’t bow to that. Farida is my friend and she is a nice person, i see nothing wrong in being friends with her. He became paranoid. Every time i go out with friends he became super uncomfortable. We fought constantly. clearly he had an informant close to me. I wouldn’t lie and say i didn’t have male friends. but when junaid came and stated his intentions i did away with them. and he knows! i wanted to marry him. Junaid is the clingy type who would call you 10 times a day ( i loved that about him) So after one major fight we had he went mute for a whole week!!! It felt pretty strange. and I WAS heart broken, i missed him but kunsan jan aji i didn’t call. We later came back together but the relationship has been strained! We unanimously shifted the date to 2nd week of February 2017

NH: So how did junaid and farida meet?

AISHA OC:  They know each other. when he visits me, we go out together.
when they started dating , that i don’t know.
but what keeps coming to me is ,i think i am not sure wo!
Junaidu has a habit of when ever we fight, he calls my friends to complain to them about me, they call me talk to me and we get back together. so i am thinking that’s how they started talking. i might be wrong. (ALLAHU YA ALLAM)

NH: When did you last see Farida?

AISHA OC: I saw her when we were going on holiday December, and we had a brief convo.  she asked me when our marriage was holding since we shifted it and i told her its some time in February, she now told me her sister is getting married around that time she hopes it doesn’t clash. We said our good byes and left. that was the last time i saw her.
i called her a few weeks after then to go to a birthday dinner which we later canceled.

NH: Take us through what happened afterwards. How you came to know

AISHA: Early march, i got a whats app message from a friend of mine
the massage stated that farida was getting married and her aso-ebi is N6000. I was so upset and disappointed how is it that farida would be getting married and not tell me, i was so bitter i didn’t even bother calling her, but i replied the massage “ALLAH YA SANYA ALHERI”
Almost immediately farida sent a broadcast massage to every one
stating she is getting married end of march, i didn’t care to ask who coz i felt we were friends i just sent ALLAH ya kaimu
After a few days a friend of mine called me, she asked did you hear farida is getting married, i said yes we are painting KD black and blue soon!
any way you better sit down for what i am about to tell you. people have been hiding it, but i cant hide this from you. kawai my heart started beating faster! what is it!
“do you know who farida is marrying “
no i told you i dont know any thing!
toh she is marrying your Junaidu!
what!!!
I became numb! every where turned black, my tongue dried.
Fareeda and Junaidu no! you must be joking!!!
That day i couldn’t sleep i couldn’t eat i couldn’t function.

NH: When you called him what was his excuse, did you call farida?

AISHA OC: I have not called him,  i would leave him with his deed
I didn’t call farida either i have left them with the Karma that would catch up with them.

NH: Sorry but personally if this happened to me i would want to see him or at least talk to him and her her as well

AISHA OC:  People have been pressurizing me to call or confront them, but for what?

NH: But you kind of confronted them on Instagram with the infamous post that went viral

AISHA OC:  Yes kind of. i was upset, dry and i wanted to tell the world my pain. how my 2 close people betrayed me. I just posted to get some sort of relief. I had no idea it would get the attention it got. that said day, walahi i got over 500 calls. I was overwhelmed. my friends where calling me from all over, i felt loved, i was happy.

NH:  What does the future hold for you Aisha

AISHA OC:  I am a strong person, i didnt know i would be able to handle it but i have and life goes on! I pray to get a fantastic GOD  fearing man that would  loves me with all his heart lol!  I am a hopeless romantic!!! you can understand how crushed i am!

NH: Do you have any message for junaidu and fareeda i know they might come across this.

AISHA OC:  duniya ce, ta ishi kowa riga da wando (Karma)

NH: Thank you so much for granting us this interview

NYSC in Ekiti reacts to story of manhandled Female Corper

The NYSC in Ekiti State has issued a rejoinder over claims that its official brutalized a Corper in the state for not wearing her jacket. The statement:

Angel Eluna is unkown to NYSC Ekiti State. I wish our young Nigerians will be truthful and bold enough to narrate issues as they really are and put their real names on such narrations.

The real corps member involved in this matter is CONFIDENCE AZUBUIKE (EK/16B/2389). She was not molested by any official of NYSC Ekiti State. Rather it was the other way round.
Confidence in her statement to the State Coordinator said she held the official’s shirt by his collar because she did not know he was an official.
She quickly released him when the Local Government Inspector introduced himself. Investigation into the incident which required the call for the corps member’s file has revealed a whole lot about who Confidence is.
One wonders the source of Confidence’s confidence in being so unruly. You need to see what she wore for Community Development Service. Her cap was wrong, White T-Shirt was something else, her canvas was Pink, Khakhi Jacket tied round her waist. Above all, she refused to be corrected and would rather fight the NYSC official.
Let it be known that the reddish patch on her arm was caused by the long chain of her handbag strap. It was as she held the officer’s shirt that the bag strap pressed on her arm leaving the reddish spot because she is fair. This is the Account of an individual that witnessed the incident.
NYSC Ekiti is coordinated by a mother who will not allow any of her corps members to be maltreated by anybody. However, she will not tolerate any misbehaviour on the part of the corps members. She calls them “My sons and daughters”. She will not hesitate to call her erring daughter Confidence to order and that she will do in this matter.
– there are always two sides to a story.

Sen. Anyanwu, while speaking at the plenary said “If the Senate is ridiculed our institution has been ridiculed, we will try as much as possible to promote this institution”

Senator Francis Alimikhena who also supported the motion, said “Lets hear from Muhammadu Buhari on Magu’s case, Magu is terrorising us, because we disqualified him.”

Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu said there’s a time frame to stand down the confirmation and implored the Senate President Bukola Saraki to convey their feelings to Mr. President.

Senate President Bukola Saraki then put the question and the Confirmation of INEC RECs was suspended for two weeks.

Looks like Magu is a BIG problem to some senators.

2 Foreigners caught plotting to abduct Lagos businessman’s daughter

The plan of a Togolese lady, Idowu Dado, and a Chadian, Abdullahi Mohammed, to start business ventures through proceeds of kidnapping has landed them in detention.

The suspects were arrested by operatives of the Zone 2 Police Command, Onikan, Lagos, while plotting to kidnap a 15-year-old girl in the Ilasamaja area of Lagos.

26-year-old Dado, who was married with two children, contacted Mohammed, 26, who worked in a sachet water factory owned by the girl’s father, Mike Ogbuachara.

The duo then co-opted Ogbuachara’s security guard, Peter Okechukwu, into the plot.

The gang reportedly planned to demand N10m as ransom for their victim.

However, Okechukwu was said to have leaked the secret to his boss, who then alerted the police.

The two suspects, who were arrested by detectives, were paraded before journalists at the Zone 2 Command headquarters, Onikan.

Okechukwu said Dado promised to give him N2m if the plan succeeded.

He said, “Dado came to meet me on March 8, 2017 and asked if I was close to my boss’ daughter and I said yes. She said she had a business for me and asked if I was ready for it. She said she would come back the following day so we could discuss the business.

“The following day, she said she wanted us to kidnap my boss’ daughter. She said she planned to demand N10m as ransom and if my boss refused to pay the money, we would kill the girl and sell her body parts.

“Because I was not comfortable with the idea, I went to tell my boss and he asked me to play along and videotape the discussion.

“I went back to meet her and agreed to the idea. When I asked what my share would be, she said she had a gang and we would be five. She said we would share the money N2m each. I told her to introduce me to other members. She said one of them was working with my boss in the factory. She didn’t tell me his name. She promised to call me later so we could all meet in a hotel to perfect the plan.”

He explained that he continued to update his boss every time he spoke with Dado.

South African anti-apartheid icon Ahmed Kathrada dies at 87

Leading South African anti-apartheid activist Ahmed Kathrada, one of Nelson Mandela’s closest colleagues in the struggle against white rule, died early Tuesday aged 87, his eponymous charity foundation said.

Kathrada was among those tried and jailed alongside Mandela in the Rivonia trial in 1964, which drew worldwide attention and highlighted the brutal legal system under the apartheid regime.

He died in a hospital in Johannesburg after a short illness following brain surgery.

Kathrada spent 26 years and three months in prison, 18 of which were on Robben Island.

AFP reports that at the end of apartheid, he served from 1994 and 1999 as parliamentary counsellor to President Mandela in the first African National Congress (ANC) government.

“This is great loss to the ANC, the broader liberation movement and South Africa as a whole,” Neeshan Balton, head of the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation, said in a statement.

“‘Kathy’ was an inspiration to millions in different parts of the world.”

His fellow prisoners included Mandela, Walter Sisulu and Denis Goldberg. May his soul RIP!

How Governor Diverted N500m To Repay His Loan

Detectives have recovered N500million allegedly diverted by a state governor from London-Paris Club loan refund.
The governor diverted the N500m (out of his state’s share of the N19b first tranche) to a mortgage bank. Good thing is, the EFCC has been able to track and secure the cash.

Besides, two firms have refunded N220million of the N3.5billion traced to some aides of Senate President Bukola Saraki.

But the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) insists it was not within its purview to determine how Melrose General Services Limited spent its share of the N3.5billion consultancy fees. The company yesterday said it was not involved in any N3.5billion scandal.

It said it executed the consultancy awarded it in line with global best practice.

EFCC traced N2.2billion payment to another consultant, which allegedly gave the yet unnamed governor N500million.

The governor directed that the cash should be transferred to a mortgage bank where he was indebted to the tune of N800million.

The governor used the “cash-at-hand” to defray his debts with a waiver by the mortgage company.

A source close to the investigation said: “Of the N19billion, we discovered that a consultant brought by the North-West governor was paid N2.2billion. From the N2.2billion, the governor got N500million.

“He then instructed that the N500million be transferred to the mortgage bank where he had borrowed money to buy two properties in 2013 and was unable to pay. The debts accumulated to N800million but with N500million cash-at-hand, the governor renegotiated the debts and used the cash to defray his liabilities.”

According to the source, the mortgage bank decided to refund the N500million to the EFCC. “We have all the evidence of the recovery in our records,” he said.

The two companies which refunded about N220million out of the N3.5billion consultancy fees in which some aides of the Senate President were implicated, are Wasp Networks and Thebe Wellness Services.

The Nation stumbled on a document about the investigation. It states: “That Mr. Bosun Ottun, the Managing director of Xtract Energy Services, a company that deals in forex trading confirmed that Wasp Networks Limited transferred N170, 000,000 on the 16th January 2017 to Xtract Energy Services Limited’s FCMB account for the purchase of $350,000, which he later transferred into Wasp Networks Stanbic IBTC US dollar domiciliary account.

“That Wasp Networks has returned to the EFCC the sum of N200million paid to the company by Mr. Robert Mbonu of Melrose General Services.

“That Mr. Robert Mbonu through Melrose General Services Company paid N20million to Thebe Wellness Services.

“That Mr. Richardson A. Ajayi, the Managing Director of Thebe Wellness Services confirmed that N20million from Melrose General Services Company was a loan from Mr. Robert Mbonu, which was to be used as an investment in Thebe Wellness Services.”

On the jewellry which cost about N92, 685,000 ($183,000 then) of the N3.5billion refund, the EFCC said the former Executive Director of Heritage Bank, Mr. Robert Mbonu, could not say the exact date the items will be delivered.

The document added: “That Mr. Robert Mbonu, through Melrose General Services Company Limited Access Bank account transferred N92, 685,000 to Acarast Communication Limited in exchange for $183,000 USD, which was later transferred to Bhaskar Devji Jewellers in Dubai for purchase of jewellery.

“That Mr. Robert Mbonu has not taken delivery of the jewellery and couldn’t provide a date when the jewellery he paid for would be delivered.”

Greedy Staff Arrested For Stealing Boss’ N53m In Lagos

A 31-year-old salesman, Onwuma Uche, has been arrested by the police for allegedly converting his boss’ N53m into personal use.
The suspect was said to be running a business venture on behalf of the boss, Onyeka Nkem, at Imo Plaza, Balogun Market, Trade Fair on the Lagos-Badagry Expressway, Lagos.

Cosmetics, perfume, among other items, were traded in the shop in large quantities.

Nkem stocked the shop with cartons of perfume valued at N43.4m, and cartons of Shampoo valued at N60m, sometime in 2013.

It was, however, alleged that Uche tampered with the venture’s account books and invoice, and failed to remit N53m to the owner’s account.

After fruitless efforts to retrieve the “missing” sum from the salesman, Nkem petitioned the Federal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Ikoyi, leading to the suspect’s arrest.

He was subsequently charged with stealing and obtaining money under false pretences by the Inspector-General of Police in a case with charge number D/17A/2017.

A police prosecutor, Inspector Ingobo Emby, on Friday brought Uche before an Igbosere Magistrate’s Court on four counts bordering on the offences.

Emby told the court, presided over by Chief Magistrate S.A. Sonuga, that the offences contravened sections 390, 421, 438 and 409 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.

The charges read in part, “That you, Onwuma Uche, sometime in 2013, at Shop A14, Imo Plaza, Balogun Market, Trade Fair, along Lagos-Badagry Expressway, Lagos, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did obtain cartons of perfume valued at N43.397m and 1,047 cartons of Shampoo worth over N60m under the pretext that you will sell and return the proceeds to the owner, which you failed to do.

“That you, during the same time and place, in the aforementioned magisterial district, did cheat your boss, Onyeka Nkem, by not remitting the proceeds of goods sold by you, worth N53m.

“That you did fraudulently omit the invoice and other account books of your boss, thereby committing an offence punishable under Section 438 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.”

However, the accused pleaded not guilty to the charges and elected summary trial.

The magistrate, Sonuga, granted him bail in the sum of N10m with two sureties each in like sum, adding that one of the sureties must be the defendant’s blood relation.

The case was adjourned till April 27.

Face Of Man Who Beheaded A 72yrs Old Woman

Wickedness these days ehn…hmmm! Police in Ogun State has arrested a murder suspect, Adeoye Ikugbayigbe, for allegedly killing a 72yrs old woman, Mrs. Funmilayo Shada, over a land.
The 23-year-old was alleged to have also cut off Funmilayo’s head with a cutlass.

Ikugbayigbe was caught by the victim’s son, Ekundayo, who was on the way to seeing his mother who was supposed to be at her farm.

He reported the case to the police at the Abigi division, leading to the arrest of the suspect.

The Ogun State police spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, in a statement confirmed the incident.

He said, “The arrest followed a report by the son of the deceased who complained at the Abigi divisional headquarters on March 17, 2017 that while he was on his way to the farm at about 10am of the same day to meet his mother who had earlier gone to the farm, he met Adeoye Ikugbayigbe on the road holding a polythene bag.

“But as soon as he (Ikugbayigbe) sighted Ekundayo, he dropped the bag and ran into a bush. This aroused Ekundayo’s suspicion and he quickly ran to check his mother, but could not find her. He later returned to check the bag dropped by the suspect only for him to discover his mother’s severed head and her wrist therein.

“He quickly reported the case to the police at about 2.45pm and the Divisional Police Officer of the Abigi division, SP Komolafe Omoniyi, led detectives to the scene, combed the surrounding bush and finally got the suspect arrested.”

Oyeyemi noted that the suspect confessed to the crime, claiming that he had been having a running battle with the deceased over a portion of land.

He added that the severed head and the remains of the deceased had been deposited in a mortuary, while the cutlass he used had also been recovered.

He said the state Commissioner of Police, CP Ahmed Iliyasu, had ordered that the suspect be transferred to the homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Eleweran, for further investigation.

100L female UNILAG student dies after she reportedly returned from outing with a man and kept vomiting

A 100 level student of the University of Lagos identified as Temitope Omolara died on Thursday, March 23rd after she reportedly went out with an unidentified man.According to Nigerian Tribune, the deceased was said to have returned to the campus after the outing feeling sick, with her friends reporting that she was seen vomiting, including blood on a number of occasions.

Temitope was said to have finally died at an undisclosed hospital outside the campus on Thursday. Her remains were buried on Friday, March 25th.

Details of the circumstances leading to her death still remain fuzzy. The university authority, on Sunday evening, reacted to a tweet, which alleged that the student had died at the university’s medical centre.

A statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the university, Mr Toyin Adebule, also discredited claims in the tweet that the school had ejected some students from their halls of residence in connection with the incident.

“Information available so far indicates that she called someone (some say, relations, others say male) to come and pick her from the hall. Later information filtered into the hall that she had died” the statement reads.

“I wish to state that the story about the Medical Centre is false. Definitely, the incident did not happen in the medical centre contrary to the claim in the Twitter massage. Lastly, there is no formal report from the hall to the DSA on the incident. Therefore, no action could have been taken to eject the bona fide student as claimed. Let me state categorically here that no student has been ejected from the hall over this matter. At this moment our thoughts are with the family.”

I have forgiven her – 24-year-old man attacked with acid by ex-girlfriend in Akwa Ibom

Iniubong Ime, who was attacked with acid by his ex-girlfriend earlier this month in Akwa Ibom State said he said no ill feelings toward her and no plan to seek revenge.
HNG recall that on Tuesday, March 6th, 26-year-old Lucy Daniel, an indigene of Ikot Annung II, in Ibesikpo Asutan LGA allegedly poured acid on Iniubong, 24, from Ikot Ntuen Oku,after he called off their relationship due to her troublesome nature.

Speaking to Daily Trust recently about his ordeal, Iniubong, who is currently receiving treatment at the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital recounted how a year into their relationship, he discovered that she is a troublesome person.

“She was causing trouble between me and my mother, my siblings and my friends, she caused trouble between me and everyone close to me, and succeeded in driving people away from me. So I decided to quit. She initially left but later started coming back, pleading that I should accommodate her, and that she wasn’t working and didn’t have anywhere to stay. Rather than accommodate her, I got her a job and also rented an apartment for her.

Thereafter, I told her that I had gone beyond my ability and she could continue her life from there. I pleaded with her to understand that we could no longer date. That was last year. She relaxed for a while and this year, she started coming around again. She would come at ungodly hours, so I told her that I didn’t welcome such visits and whenever she came around I would send her back.

Lucy didn’t take the break up well.

“Of course, not peacefully.Even when she wasn’t coming around, she was always monitoring my movement and I knew it. But I didn’t bother because I had nothing to do with her anymore. Sometimes, when she spots me with anyone, male or female, she wouldn’t care to know who the person was and would just begin to insult them.

Recalling how the attack happen, Iniubong said on that fateful night, he had retired to bed when he was woken up by a knock on his door.

“On Monday, March 6, 2017,  I went to bed early but was woken up by a sound outside my door at about midnight. When I woke up I saw that my window net had been torn and I decided to find out who was at the door. When I opened the door, I saw it was Lucy, and before I could say anything she splashed the acid on me and ran away. I was in serious pain, and the burns on my body are severe. The only thing I could do at that point was to rush to a bucket of water which I usually kept in my room and poured it on myself with the hope that it would ease the pain. I then began shouting for help and people started coming out, including my siblings who were in the next apartment. They brought me to the hospital.

DT: After the incident, what was the reaction of her family?

Ime: Her mother was very angry. She is still not feeling well because she is hypertensive, so I can understand with her. She called me and said she would have nothing to do with Lucy henceforth. I was even told that the mother made efforts and apprehended her, took her to a local government chairman and was to be handed over to the police the next day. I don’t know what the chairman did and Lucy escaped from his custody. She’s still at large.
My aunt has since reported to the police. But our major concern now is for me to recover. My treatment bills are being footed by my family and friends and it has not been easy. You know that injuries of this magnitude need a lot of care and money. So, I will appreciate if government at any level, interest groups and kind-hearted individuals can come to my aid so that I can recover.
DT: When you recover, will you seek vengeance?
Ime: That wouldn’t solve anything. I have decided to let it go and forgive her. In fact, I forgave her from the very day it happened. I thank God I’m still alive. I won’t take her back because I had long broken up with her before the incident. But I can relate normally with her. I have no hard feelings towards her. We won’t be lovers again, but she won’t be my enemy either.
DT: Did you at any point promise to marry her?
Ime: Not at all. I don’t make promises I cannot fulfill. I only told her that if we were meant for each other, destiny would bring us together. I however advised her that if she saw any other suitor, she could go ahead and marry him.

Apostle Suleman Shocks Church Members With Cash, Multimillion House And 26 Cars

Sunday, 26th of March, 2017, was one of the happiest moments in the life of servant of God, founder and president of the Omega Fire Ministries worldwide, Apostle (Prof.) Johnson Suleman. It was the celebration of his  birthday.
The headquarters of the OFM witnessed the convergence of a quality crowd with celebrities from various fields of endeavour rejoicing with the famous preacher.

This year’s celebration of Apostle Suleman’s birthday was a reflection of the fact that on your birthday, God really doesn’t count the candles on your cake or the money in the bank. What He appreciates is the love in your soul. With your showing love even when it is your time to be celebrated, God can count really high for you.
A multimillion house and total number of 26 posh cars were given out to different categories of members of his Ministry, as Apostle Suleman poised to rather celebrate his own people in a big way for being dedicated to the Mission and supporting him over the years. Each department of the OFM was touched with the rare blessing.
The first shocker was the gift of a N16 million, 4-bedroom bungalow, fully furnished, to a female member who also got N100,000 cash. The cars given out included a Ford Jeep, Lexus Jeep, Lexus car, Acura Jeep, Infinity Jeep, Honda Pilot Jeep, Nissan Xterra Jeep, Suzuki V6 Jeep, Camry car, and other brands. Outside the car and house donations, the church members were also blessed with a cash sum of N6 million by Apostle Suleman. N2m was given to widows, N100,000 and N250,000 respectively was given each to members from all OFM departments who have been in the ministry for longer years. A physically challenged gentleman and a Dr. Elliot were blessed with N500,000 each while N1 million cash was given out to the orphanage.
Speaking before the surprise blessings were reeled out, the ‘Oracle of God’ as Apostle Suleman is fondly referred, warned; “the enemies want me to stop giving but I won’t stop. But I’ll be careful how I give.” The man of God’s statement  was a veiled reference to a recent event where blackmailers made attempts to prey on him for his large heart but failed on arrival.
And, call it double victory for Apostle Suleman; the mother of a major actor in the blackmail saga, Stephanie Otobo, stormed the celebration with her eldest daughter to seek forgiveness on behalf of her erring daughter, Stephanie. The man of God who said he has forgiven her daughter, urged the daughter to return to the public with the truth, after which he prayed for their family.

Meanwhile, ahead of the three-day birthday activities which began on Friday, 24th of March, 2017, was a novelty match tagged ‘Papa’s Cup’ between the team of Northern regional OFM pastor and the South South team.
