Grandparents wear matching outfits every day for 52 years
An elderly couple have been wearing matching colored outfits together for 52 years, according to their grandson.
Anthony Gargiula shared multiple photos of his grandparents wearing shirts and pants of similar colors.
“My grandparents have been married for 52 years and they match outfits every day,” he wrote.
Gargiula told CNN his grandparents Ed, 76, and Fran, 74 began matching their outfits when they performed as square dancers and carried the tradition into their daily lives.
“I wake up to text messages saying, ‘Good morning! We hope you have a good day!’ — along with the “outfit of the day,” he said.
Ed and Fran did not waver from their tradition even after Gargiula informed them of their viral fame simply responding with a text showcasing their outfit of the day.
“Good morning from your famous grandparents,” they wrote.
