Continuous detention of Dasuki, Kanu, Wicked and Barbaric – Fani Kayode

Femi Fani-Kayode has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to release some political detainees in the country, saying their detention was illegal and barbaric.

The former Aviation Minister called on the President to release former NSA Sambo Dasuki, leader of the Indigeous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Warimpa Dudafa and former FCT Minister, Bala Mohammed.

All accused persons are currently in custody of security agencies over their alleged involvement in corrupt practices and for alleged treason.

Reacting via a series of tweets, Fani-Kayode said: “Col Sambo Dasuki has been illegally detained under the most hideous condition for one year, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for one year, Mr Warimpa Dudafa for eight month and Sen Bala Mohammed for one month.

“This is wicked, barbaric, and inhuman. It is a gross violation of their human rights and civil liberties.

“None of them have been convicted of any crime and the courts have ordered that each of them be released.

“I hereby call on President Muhammadu Buhari to RELEASE them and allow them to go home to their families.”

Tinubu Is A Priceless Asset – President Buhari

President Buhari Muhammadu Buhari has dismissed rumours that he and APC leadership are at odds with one of the party’s leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, describing such rumours as mischievous.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, said the President was highly embarrassed by such “suggestions” and that Buhari was in regular contact with Tinubu before, during and after the Ondo gubernatorial election.

He said any suggestions that Buhari and the party machinery were working to destroy Tinubu had no foundation in truth or any credibility, explaining that the President was impressed by Tinubu’s assurance not to work against the party in Ondo and he honoured his words.

The Presidential Media Aide also explained that President Buhari regards Tinubu as a priceless political asset to the party whose immeasurable contributions to the development and progress of the ruling party are known to all.

Malam Garba Shehu advised rumour mongers stop spreading the seeds of discord and animosity between the President and Tinubu or the party, adding that the President is proud of the Jagaban and his pivotal role in the party and the movement.

President Buhari commended Tinubu’s spirit of comradeship in promptly congratulating Rotimi Akeredolu who was elected Governor.

The President also noted that at a time his administration is preoccupied with governance issues, rumours of divisions and alleged scheming within the party are counterproductive to internal unity and cohesion in APC.

He appealed to APC members and supporters to ignore rumours that could harm party unity.

Lady reveals what her friend suffered from a Female Pastor

Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty in this world. Her words below:

“Some crazy things going on in my church right now. I need to share…am still in shock, need to compose myself. I want people to learn from our experience and be careful of pastors. Please I want you to share it without SHOWING my name please.

There’s this church my friend and I just joined, we’ve been going there for a long time [but] just became full members over a year ago, she’s in choir and I ushering department. Its a fast growing church and we’re very close to the pastor. We call about challenges at work and she prays for us. 

My friend is always buying things for her and sowing seed in her life… To cut long story short… A brother in the church courting my friend finally proposed to her and she accepted. He went to inform the pastor and she refused that she’ll never allow him to marry her.. This is a girl she prays for to get a good husband and she’s always announcing to the church that she’s her precious daughter. 

We thought it was a joke, she started calling him at night saying she’s prayed about it, that my friend is not his wife, that she’s not spirituality strong blabla bla, she said all evil things you can think of. [But] the guy said he already prayed about it and they’ve courted, that he’ll marry her. 

This married woman of God, that is an ordained pastor…said it will never happen. She even called my friend’s mother and reported that my friend insulted and ridiculed her in front of people. The members she mentioned their names, said it never happened… 

Everyday she’ll come up with different method to tarnish the girls image. The pastor’s sister is the choir director, and my friend was expelled from the choir cause she missed rehearsals once. 

A leader in the church called my friend one day and told her to stop coming to the church and be very prayerful, that she went to clean the church one day and saw the pastor holding a white piece of cloth and was praying thunder and brimstone for her unborn child (she’s pregnant) not my friend. 

That part of the things she said was since she’s married and can’t marry the brother he must marry her younger sister the choir director or nobody else. That she’ll make life miserable for their enemies till they part ways. 

Please how can a woman of God who is pregnant stand on the sacred Alter of God and be laying curses on people’s children because of marriage? 

This girl is always doing midnight prayer, everyday fasting cause their businesses is having serious challenge. (We know economy is bad, but how can both their businesses come to a standstill at about same period?) Now am even doubting every revelation she has seen for me…am in shock…”

Whether you believe or not, people can upset your life’s journey. Just pray it doesn’t happen to you.

Viking & Eiye Cultists Clash In AuchiPoly… 5 Feared Dead

No fewer than five persons have been reportedly killed, following a renewed cult war between rival groups around Auchi Polytechnic, in Etsako-West area of Edo State.

It was learnt that the victims were killed in different locations during a violent clash between the so called Aiye and Viking confraternity.

Young boys who should be studying just wasting their own lives.

It was gathered that the incident occurred shortly after the completion of examinations for the 2016 session in the institution last Thursday.

One of the victims was said to have been killed close to a construction company on the Benin-Auchi-Okene expressway.

Two others were reportedly shot dead behind the School of Engineering of the polytechnic and around Sabo area, respectively.

It was gathered that a disagreement had ensued last Friday between the two groups at the graduation party of an unnamed student.

The Commissioner of Police, Haliru Gwandu, confirmed the death of two persons during the clashes between the rival cult groups.

CP Gwandu, however, disclosed that kingpins from the groups had been arrested and were assisting the police with useful information in their investigation.

9 Killed In Ohio University After A Gunman Unleash Terror

I wonder what is influencing this kind of behaviour in the United States of America. Where someone will just go to a school with gun and start shooting students.

A suspect is dead and at least 9 injured about an hour after an active shooter situation was reported at Ohio State University. Just before 10am [local time], the university issued a warning telling students at the school’s Columbus campus to shelter in place.

The first reports of gunshots came from Watts Hall, which is home to the school’s Materials Science and Engineering program.

Since then though, the focus of law enforcement on the campus has been on a nearby parking garage, where the shooter or shooters were believed to be hiding. More photos…

Police stormed the garage just before 11am and minutes later they confirmed that one suspect was dead. Two men, one black and one white, were also brought out of the building in handcuffs.

The corpse of a three year old boy whose penis cut off was on Saturday November 26th abandoned under a bridge on the Abuja-Lokoja road in Gwagwalada. Residents of the area believe s‎suspected ritualists had kidnapped the little boy elsewhere, cut off his penis and dumped his remains under the bridge.

The corpse has been deposited at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital morgue at Gwagwalada. Divisional Police Crime Officer in Gwagwalada, Philips K. Dogo, who confirmed the incident, said ‎the police is investigating the matter and would soon apprehend the culprits.

Why My Party PDP Lost Ondo To APC – Kashamu

Senator Buruji Kashamu on Sunday explained why his political party, the Peoples Democratic Party, lost the Saturday’s Ondo State governorship election to the All Progressives Congress.

The senator also criticised the Senator Ahmed Makarfi-led National Caretaker Committee of the party over the statement credited to its spokesman, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, where he threatened to sanction those in the camp of Senator Ali Modu Sheriff.

He said that the refusal of the Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, to listen to advice on where his successor should come from worked against him and the PDP during the election.

Kashamu said, “We told Governor Mimiko that after eight years in office, the good people of Ondo State would resist the injustice of producing a successor from the same senatorial district where he hails from.

“It is not that Jegede is not a good material. He is urbane, intelligent and smart. He would have probably won had he come from any other senatorial zone than Mimiko’s.

“We told Mimiko that the people would not take anything that would look like a third term for him and his senatorial district. He would not listen.

“ Mimiko turned deaf ears to wise counsel, just like he turned his back on all those who helped him to power. Despite being the Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, Mimiko turned himself into Fayose’s puppet, allowing Fayose to lead him by the nose.”

On the claim by the spokesman for the PDP Caretaker Committee, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, that the party would impose sanction on Sheriff and his faction, Kashamu said such action would fail.

He said, “”No one is afraid of any sanction so long as we know that we are fighting to protect the interest of our people. A political party is a congregation of people with a common goal yet with various interests. In every political setting, people align and realign with the bloc or group where they feel their interest is better protected and guaranteed.

“If your bloc or group wins, it does not mean you should seek to emasculate the other because you never can tell what would happen tomorrow.”
