The Voice Nigeria winner A’rese Emokpae revealed on her Instagram page, a few hours ago that the SUV she won on the reality show was stolen by robbers who had posed as government officials.
According to her, they towed away her car and it was only after they refused to provide a form of identification and took off with her car that she realized they were actually thieves.
Her words:
“UPDATE: IT’S BEEN FOUND!! Those rascals didn’t get far

So my car was just stolen by people posing as gov’t officials. They towed it while refusing to identify themselves or tell us where they’re going. If you see it, please @ me w/ the location and a picture if you can!
