Woman remanded in prison for burning teenager with hot iron

Let me just say one bitter truth… SOME WOMEN ARE MORE VIOLENT THAN MEN. They only cry out when a man beats them because they know they can’t beat the man. For women who are stronger than their husband, they beat their husband.

Go to hospitals and see what some women have done to housegirls and houseboys, you’ll know that the pictures you see of women crying on social media that their husband or boyfriend beat them are small compared to what some have done to VULNERABLE teenagers, boys and girls who are under them. One woman even put broom in a boy’s p*nis last week.

Like I often say, our society will get better when we condemn violence totally; either from a man to a woman or from a woman to a younger person; housegirl, houseboy, etc.

As you read this, the Ogudu Magistrate Court in Lagos has remanded a 44-year-old lady, Nneka Ilokwu in prison, for burning a 16-year old girl with hot iron.

The accused, who lives at 36, Fadeyi Street, Isheri area of Lagos, was arraigned before Magistrate (Mrs) Sule Amzat, on a two-count charge of assault and grievous harm.

The magistrate granted Ilokwu (accused) bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum, after she pleaded not guilty.

However, the magistrate ordered that Ilokwu be remanded in prison till she is able to meet the bail.

According to the magistrate, the bail condition includes that the sureties must be members of her family, and must also show evidence of tax clearance.

It was gathered that the accused lady was arrested at her residence in December 2016.

The serious case, which was reported to the police by neighbours who couldn’t stomach her wicked acts on the teenage girl anymore, had also attracted the Lagos State Domestic and S*xual Violenc Response Team (DSVRT).

Now Nneka is begging and blaming the devil.
